Outpost Trust Center

How Outpost protects trust

Outpost is one civic platform with multiple surfaces. Civic data, education, user discussion, document intelligence, and any advocacy content must be labeled, sourced, reviewed, and corrected when wrong.

Civic data

Presented factually, sourced, multi-perspective when needed, and separated from any advocacy.

Advocacy labeling

Any position or call to action is clearly labeled so users know when they are reading one โ€” Outpost itself takes none.

Corrections

Users can report outdated, wrong, misleading, broken, or privacy-sensitive information.

Documents

Uploaded documents are private by default; redactions must be burned or flattened before export.

AI assistance

All Knowing Mind is source-bound and audit-aware. It does not treat guesses as facts.

Outreach research

Public-source research lists require source URLs, confidence scores, and human review before outreach.

The labeling rule

Neutral civic data, sourced analysis, labeled advocacy, user opinion, educational material, and legal/political action guidance are different categories. Outpost should label those categories clearly so users can trust what they are reading.

See something wrong?

Use the correction flow to report wrong officials, outdated bill status, broken links, privacy issues, misleading summaries, or advocacy that should be more clearly labeled.
